About dots.ar

What dots.ar is, who publishes it, how we handle information, and why this site has no relationship with OpenAI.

Redacción dots.ar 1 min read

dots.ar is an independent site, in Spanish and English, dedicated to explaining OpenAI dots: what they are, how they work, what they cost and where the limits are. We have no relationship with OpenAI and we publish no content sponsored by the company.

Why this site exists

When OpenAI announced dots on 29 September 2026, the available information arrived mixed with noise: a failed demo, searches redirecting to another product, and a name — Muse — said by mistake on television that still confuses people.

This site exists to sort that out. The goal is for you to resolve a specific question in a few minutes, with the sources in front of you.

How we work

Our editorial standards are detailed in the editorial policy. In short:

  • Primary sources first. OpenAI announcements, help center and documentation.
  • Unverified stays labelled unverified. When we cite public discussions, we say so.
  • Visible dates. Every article shows when it was published and when it was updated.
  • No filler. Ten useful pages beat a hundred empty ones.

Independence and trademarks

“OpenAI”, “ChatGPT” and “dots” are trademarks of their respective owners and we use them solely to identify the products we discuss. We do not use their logos or visual identity, and we never suggest this site is official.

How we fund the site

The site is funded by display advertising. Ad slots switch on only once there is enough reviewed content, and advertising has no influence on what we write or on our comparisons’ conclusions.

Contact

You can reach us from the contact page. We fix errors with priority: if you find a wrong fact, tell us where it is and we will review it.
