Privacy policy
What data dots.ar collects, with which tools, what it is used for, and how to exercise your rights. No unnecessary tracking.
dots.ar is a static site. There are no user accounts, no sign-up forms, and no personal data collected to build profiles. This policy explains what is processed, with which tools, and what control you have.
What data is processed
Technical access data
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any infrastructure provider, Cloudflare processes the technical data needed to serve the page: IP address, browser type, request date and time. That data is used to operate and protect the service.
Analytics
We use cookie-less aggregate analytics that does not identify individual visitors, does not build profiles, and does not follow you across sites. Typical metrics: page views, approximate country, device type and referrer.
Advertising
The site is designed to carry display advertising, which is not active during this initial stage. When it is switched on:
- Ad providers may use their own cookies or identifiers.
- Where the law requires it — for example in the European Economic Area — a consent prompt will be shown before those scripts load.
- You will be able to decline consent and keep reading the site normally.
Data we do not process
- We do not ask for or store accounts, passwords or payment details.
- We use no forms that send data to a server of our own.
- We do not build user profiles.
What the data is used for
- Serving the site and keeping the infrastructure secure.
- Understanding in aggregate which content is useful.
- Funding the site with advertising, if you choose to consent.
We do not use the data for automated decisions that affect you, nor to train models of our own.
Third parties
| Provider | Role | What it processes |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting and CDN | Technical access data |
| Cookie-less analytics | Aggregate measurement | Non-identifiable metrics |
| Ad providers | Advertising (when enabled) | Own cookies, subject to consent |
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction — for example under the GDPR in Europe or Argentina’s Law 25.326 — you may have the right to access, rectify, erase or object to the processing of your personal data.
Because this site keeps no accounts or user databases, it is most likely that no personal information about you is identifiable to us. If you believe otherwise, write to us from the contact page and we will look into it.
Changes
If we change how we handle data — the most likely trigger being advertising being switched on — we will update this page and its modified date before the change takes effect.
